Takopaki VR is a cooking VR game created by the Takopaki group for our 3rd Year Final Year Project (FYP) in Singapore Polytechnic.
Takopaki is a unique spin on the name of the classic Japanese snack, takoyaki. Takopaki Enterprise is also the owner of the popular franchise brand, Takopaki, a takoyaki restaurant in the city of Catopia. In this game, you shall be serving kitty customers takoyaki as the head chef of Takopaki’s takoyaki restaurant.
I worked as the Programming Lead on this project. As a programming lead, it was my responsibility every week to check in on my programming team on the progress of work we set out to complete at the end of every week, making sure game implementations and mechanics are on track with our timeline.
I also served as a form of communication between the Team Lead, and Art Team, whenever we require assets for our game.
